Magic Mirrors
The word “scry” originates from the English word “descry”, meaning to see or reveal.
Mirror gazing, or scrying, is one of the oldest known forms of divination.
The powers of the mirror stem from the energies of the moon. Before use the mirror must be charged with lunar power and personalized. Instructions for personalization and lunar charging are included with the mirror.
The strength of the mirror has been increased by the use of some condensers that the owner will use to collect the moons energy. There are two types of condensers
Natural condensers:
The underside of the glass mirror has been coated with a natural condenser. The natural condenser consists of a mixture of the following ingredients.
Salt, peony, rose, hair, eggshell, willow, spider web, moss, shell.
Each ingredient has been chosen due to its association with the moon. They are mixed together on the night of a full moon.
Symbolic condensers:
A symbolic condenser is a certain shape, number or letter that is associated with the moon. It attracts lunar power into the mirror and holds it there. Behind the glass of the mirror is the symbolic condenser, a script of the traditional seal of the moon.
Using the Magic Mirror:
There are two ways to use the mirror.
1.
To improve self perception: look into your eyes in the mirror and talk yourself into being exactly who you want to be.
2.
scrying. Stare into the centre of the mirror, past the reflection and in to the blackness of the mirror. Look into the mirror not at it, but literally into it or through it. Focus on the question that you wish to have answered. After a while you will notice colours and movement at the edge of your awareness.
3.
Spirit guides. Do the above steps and you can also ask for your guides to come forward.
4.
Always thank your guides and treat them with respect.
