One way to get the partner you dream of is to steal something from them; of course, you should return it after you’ve finished your spell. It is best to pick something you can wear their belt; a scarf, a tie clip, etc., wear it close to your skin day and night for a week. Sleep with it and touch it frequently. Part of your spirit will have entered it when you give it back.

Another way to make someone love you is to obtain chilled red wine, a teaspoon of each rosemary leaves, aniseed, cloves honey and orange rind, a pinch of ground cumin and three green leaves from a rose geranium. Mix in a saucepan, boil and then simmer while counting to 100. Remove and put in a cool place until the steam ceases to rise, then strain through a sieve and return to the heat. When sweet vapours rise, pour it into a cup and give it to your dream lover.

Suppose you want to seduce someone, light a red candle on the night of the full moon while thinking of your intended. Repeat three times “Light the flame, bright the fire, red is the colour of desire”.

To make someone fall in love with you, with a small knife, cut two tiny hearts. Place a pinch of ground cinnamon wrapped in a freshly picked rose petal that has been rubbed with spring onion, sew the two hearts together, then pin them to the left side of your underwear.

If unbridled passion is your want, try to touch the back of your “intended victim’s” neck without their knowledge while whispering: “hands set him on fire, with the wildest desire.” He will soon be filled with an uncontrollable passion for you if you do this often enough.

If you have a tiff with the person you love, write your name and theirs in red ink on a piece of paper. Encircle the characters three times and bury them. They’ll soon turn up full of apologies.

If they suddenly lose interest in you, write their name in red ink on a piece of paper and stick it under the phone in an inconspicuous place. At the new moon, light a pink candle when you think they are most likely to ring. Let the candle burn for at least half an hour while you call up their image. Do this for seven days.
