AN INTRODUCTION TO THE ANCIENT ART OF RUNES
Believe it or not, both of these day to day symbols evolved thousands of years ago in the days of the Viking from the ancient art of Runes.
From the word "whispered secret", Runes remained shrouded in mystery for hundreds of years but in their heyday, they were referred to in a bid to predict and sometimes influence the weather, harvest, births, deaths and even war.
Today more and more people study and practice this secret revealing art in a bid to find the answers to their past, present and future. It is an alternative to Tarot cards.
Runes comprise of 25 alphabetic scripted stones. Each stone possesses a meaning and through its interpretation, points one towards those hidden forces and motivations that shapes one's present and future.
The X we represent kisses with is actually the Rune for Partnership and Giving. The arrow we follow in fact represents the Warrior Rune. This Rune describes action and undergoing a passage with total trust. When reversed this Rune represents danger, pretty much the same outcome if you were to go against a pointing arrow - especially on a freeway!
Few people recognize this mystical art, but its decorative motifs are found on many accessories and in past and current architecture. Once you are familiar with this age-old art, you'll want to consult them every day, as I do and my many clients.
