Love and romance spells
Witchcraft and witches have long been been instrumental
in the search and capture of elusive love. To secure the object
of one's desire, witches were frequently sought by all strata
of society, to weave spells, provide potions and amulets. To ensure
success, nothing was left to chance.
Crystal balls were peered into to find the face of the loved one.
Palms were read to pinpoint-the year that one could expect to
marry.
Luckily, love spells are fun and easy to cast,
even for the beginner. People in love have no trouble calling
up the moods and images that trigger magic.
TO MAKE SOMEONE FALL
IN LOVE WITH YOU
Place an egg in an anthill on November 18. Let it lie there for
one week, then take it out. Whoever you touch it with will love
you.
Give the man you wish to marry a sprig of myrtle
and he will return your love.
Obtain chilled red wine and a teaspoon of rosemary
leaves, aniseed, cloves, honey and orange rind. Pinch ground cumin
and three green leaves from rose geranium. Mix in saucepan, boil,
simmer while counting to 100. Remove to a cool place until steam
ceases to rise. Then strain through sieve and return to heat,
when sweet vapors rise. Pour into cup and give to beloved.
Before sunrise, pick either a blade of grass
or a leaf from the person's garden and put it in your mouth.
Turn to the east and say:
Let the moon rising
Be my true love's guide
Then turn to the west and say:
And the moon setting
Find him (her) at my side.
A seduction
spell..
On the night of a full, moon, light a red
candle while thinking of your intended. Repeat three times:
Light the flame, bright the fire, red is the color of desire.

MAKE YOUR LOVER RETURN
Say this incantation seven times for seven
nights at seven o'clock:
Hide in darkness, out of
sight
Until the next moons, seventh night
Then go and find the one I seek
As he must return within a week.

Put an agate on his left breast while he is sleeping. When he
wakes he will tell you what you want to know.

FIND OUT WHETHER YOUR LOVER IS FAITHFUL
Put a piece of iron ore under your lover's pillow. If faithful,
he or she will embrace you, if not, he or she, will fall out of
bed.

PUNISH AN UNFAITHFUL LOVER
At midnight, light a brown candle. Using a needle, price the candle
three times while saying:
Twice, thrice
The candle is pricked by me;
Thrice the heart
Shall broken thee
